Lovely, cosy, comfortable accommodation in idyllic spot. Michelle was an amazing host who answered promptly and gave great recommendations and help. The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed a relaxing holiday exploring the local area with its great walks, amazing beaches, delicious food and friendly welcome everywhere. Will definitely be back!

We had a a great time at the cottage. It’s in a brilliant location and such a lovely little place. Ample room for the 3 adults that stayed. Life in Blakeney is pretty idyllic and Michelle’s cottage is an ace place to enjoy it from.
We were moments away from everything Blakeney has to offer. Great walks to Morton and Cley along the Norfolk coastal path and sitting down at the Quay was such a fantastic way to spend the evening.

THE OLD VICTORIA
We had a great week at The Old Victoria in July. We were two families of four and the Old Vic suited as well. Great location in picture-perfect Stiffkey with a good local coffee shop and pub, and a great base to explore the Norfolk coast. The kids loved exploring the outdoor place and we enjoyed BBQs in the garden. The hosts have created a comprehensive house annual which was really hopefully and communication and check in were swift and seamless. Recommend!

We have had a very relaxing and cosy stay in this lovely house! It was comfortable and well equipped with beautiful fixtures and fittings to a high standard. There is plenty of room for families and as two couples we had masses of space. We really enjoyed using the AGA which we haste no used before. We walked on the marsh and saw lots of good bird sightings and just generally enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and visited the local villages

Simply fabulous hideaway on the North Norfolk coast... Great for walks, beaches, cycling or just hanging out by the log fire! Michelle and Jonathan are gracious hosts and have plenty of trips and ideas to make your trip even more worthwhile

We had a fantastic week on the North Norfolk coast and The Lodge certainly contributed to that! The Lodge was accessed through electric gates and then up a short gravel drive. It was more spacious than expected and it was warm and cosy. The bed and chairs were very comfy. The large bathroom was a nice surprised with excellent shower. The sauna was a bonus and a real treat at the end of our days out. We liked the quiet location away from these popular villages plus having a secluded half acre added to the peaceful surroundings. We were very pleased with our choice!

Such a lovely place nestled away in a nice peaceful location well away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For me this was just perfect for a weekend break filled with touring the local golf courses and sampling the local delicacy’s (Cromer crab is a must try). The lodge was fantastic, absolutely love the shower and the sauna was very welcome after my days out. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to book a short break or even a romantic getaway

A fabulous location with wonderful walks out onto the marshes from the front door. Fab to have the Cley Smoke House and a deli on your doorstop too

Mallard Cottage looked lovely and allowed dogs - so we went for it. It’s a brilliant location, opposite the great Smokehouse and 10 seconds stroll from a great deli that serves everything you can imagine from cakes to pies and beyond. It’s right on the doorstep of some great walks and we were able to drive to Holman and Cromer inside 20 minutes or so. Michelle responds at light speed to any messages and I would recommend a few days in Cley and Mallard Cottage to anyone, either with a small family or just a grown-up getaway.

It’s even more lovely in person, situated very centrally in the village along a lovely street of traditional cottages. The location is perfect for exporting Norfolk and Cley is a beautiful little village. The Patisserie in particular is amazing!

The place is amazing! It’s so cute, super clean and near of the main areas in the Norfolk coast. You can find walking distance a great shop where they do amazing breakfast and also a pub. Michelle has been so attentive and the communication with her has been great. She always checked with me if everything was ok.
